Global Ambassador Program
Bridging the gap for a truly global movement.
At Hive, we believe that the potential to help animals shouldn’t be limited by geography. While our digital home is open to everyone, we recognize that advocates in underrepresented regions often face unique barriers to accessing the networks and resources they need to thrive.
In 2025, we launched the Global Ambassador Program to make an intentional effort to reach and support advocates in Asia and Latin America.
Program Overview
What is this program?
The Global Ambassador Program provides high-trust matchmaking and regionalized support. The farmed animal movement often lacks infrastructure in underserved areas; this program acts as a dedicated on-ramp into the movement and a launchpad for accelerating impact within specific geographic contexts.
What do the Ambassadors do?
- Building Connections: Facilitating in-person and digital connections to build mutual trust.
- Knowledge Sharing: Sharing regional insights to ensure local work aligns with global strategy.
- Resource Navigation: Helping advocates navigate Hive's Slack and curated resources.
- Driving Growth: Expanding Hive's presence and support network within their regions.

Angel Lau
Asia Ambassador & Generalist
Angel brings diverse expertise, including co-founding Animal Alliance Asia, driving communications for various organizations, and community building in Asia. As our Asia ambassador, she continues to use her deep expertise and can help with movement context and connections for Asia-based advocates and projects.
Alexia Dean
Latin America Ambassador
In addition to her role as LatAm Ambassador, Alexia also works at LATAM Group for Animals and led fundraising efforts at Animal Libre, an animal rights organization working across Chile and Argentina. She also has experience in community organizing and the tech sector and can provide movement context and connections for Latin America-based advocates and projects.
Looking Ahead: We aim to expand the program over time to support additional regions, such as Africa, where advocates face structural barriers to collaboration and access.
